People are artistically satiated by AI's shiny impersonations and pitching tents because their word prompts are generating sublime masterpieces without spoiled artists getting in the way. Score. What they're really celebrating is theft. AI steals copyright from human artists.
I'm seeing a lot of artists post #NoAIArt on their feeds lately, apparently unaware that most people seeing this are *fellow broke artists* who aren't buying *any less* art because of text-to-image models, because they're already making insufficient money to hire other artists.
@Lumaris I agree that art is in the eye of the beholder. But I still feel it's just a tool to be utilized by artists.
For example, here's what happens when I run your artwork through. While it looks similar, they are not the same drawing. Would this be considered theft? or stolen art?
