I had a ton of fun (and a lot of struggle,,) in trying to do this type of dramatic lighting :^D

My favorite part is when I slapped on a reddish glow layer (~0:15) and suddenly the characters looked ALIVE 🤩 !!

I was then trying to figure out what color to use in the background. I wasn't sure if I was going to go dark or light or what color to use that would go well with her orange skin and blue montrals or her reddish brown outfit. I tried different colors digitally.
