Mario's moveset represents his games so well that they even referenced the endless staircase from super mario 64
Also, I don't know if I'm the only one on this train or what... But I hate that Mario's "new" design has his mouth not directly under his moustache.
It bothers me A LOT because I think the purpose of this is "to see his smile more" but that wasn't a problem at all to begin with. https://t.co/NNjllHoJl3
i feel like mario's face in 3D renders briefly dipped into some evil territory in the gamecube/wii era. but then in the HD era they brought back this cuddly warmth he had in the N64 era. it's the chubby plush proportions of his face
@CursedMario Nintendo's process involves a lot of concept art for guiding every aspect of Mario's look. Without access to that concept art, you're unlikely to make it look as "Mario" as the official material. Below is concept art for mario strikers, which is a game Nintendo outsourced.
Mario's stars and stripes outfit first appeared in 1987's Family Computer Golf: U.S. Course. It would reach players outside Japan with 1991's NES Open Tournament Golf. Happy 4th of July!

Goddamnit Miku..
I love this one, I love @VinnyVinesauce streams and the Mario's Mystery Meat stream is a true masterpiece! This was also inspired by this art by AnimaAnnorum on VineBooru and this picture of Binny

Not putting any watermarks or anything. Feel free to use it as long as you provide credit.

@FettermanVinny Your not the inventor of a circle eyes or star shirts, are you an art thief? No
I took Mario's nose, I took Homers hair for the beard, and y'all know I didn't invent the ahoge. Am I an art thief?
FUN FACT: I have an amiibo based off of this very good image of Mario's best friend Toad.
A lost scene from "Mario's Hell Kitchen".
