Lately I've been playing with:
• seraphim, where seraphim = creature + wings + many eyes
• flat colours, no outlines
• simplified palettes
• humanoid heads on pretty much everything

hi there! I have some guides for you
1. try to use a colored outline and don't be scared to play around with color shades
2. it's good to choose where the light is coming from and indicate that by visible differences
3. the scarf shouldn't be hovering
