ok i know Super Mario Arcana's development is YEARS away since i wanna pull it off mostly by myself with my specific vision (so im doing other practice projects)
BUT ill just put this guy into more reasonable mario platformer proportions (while still being a massive unit) :P

my fanny redesign is finished! i was a little worried it was too similar to the original design, just with new proportions, but i think it turned out unique enough :)

while i dont think this is traced off of anything (no exact pic) the body proportions, face, hair style (maybe a smidge flatter) are exactly the same. all she did was make the brows thicker

The transition between these two volumes feels like one of the biggest leaps between Araki art styles since Part 4. Something happened this year (2006) that made Araki update to more realistic proportions.

Wonder if it had something to do with the Rohan at the Louvre?

I’ve a hunch that this particular drawing was early concept art for Tails. We can also see a back view of this Tails in the Japanese manual for Sonic 2. And compared to the final design it lines up more closely to one of his inspirations, proportions wise

I always been amazed by the anatomy of Eevee turning into a Glaceon.
The proportions change by the reaction of a stone so cold it modifying the body to adapt in colder areas. Not only that, it can change temperatures and straight up make sharp needles from its fur.

Candrin (Human). A werewolf, he's a rough and tumble demon hunter working for coin and searching for some answers to his past. His more accurate design is on the right in chibi form, but there's an older version on the left in normal proportions.

Face and head studies. I didn't like the faces I've been drawing at all, they looked weird. To improve I studied some of my favorite artists to learn the proportions they use; I still need more practice to implement this proportion to my own style, but I like what I am getting🥳
