Hell, Even old promotional Art had that Semi Realistic Flare to it. I keep telling people, Sonic's always been a Surrealist Styled series, and making it TOO cartoony kinda ruins the fun. It's supposed to be a mixture of fantastical Trippy stuff And realistic, textured stuff.
