Now why Miku you may be questioning? For the longest time Miku was viewed as a mascot for Sega in Japan as Sega had partial ownership of vocaloid and still does, even today you can still find traces of Hatsune Miku being a second mascot for Sega with something like Crossworlds
It would make sense for them to collab thus they did, designed by Tsunako, the main illustrator. Segami would began being sketched and redefined to the character she is today which would be a mixed between Sonic The Hedgehog and Hatsune Miku
