Surprisingly this new team reveals its "true face" at the end of the KOF97 story, revealing themselves as 3 of the 4 Orochi Heavenly Kings, and reveal their true power/gameplay:

Yashiro: Power of earth (grappler)
Shermie: Power of thunder (zonner)
Chris: Power of fire (shoto)

Among the new created characters, there was a team, called "New Face Team". New Face Team was a music band holding a grudge against Iori Yagami. They enter the tournament to get a revenge on him.

Yashiro : Powerfull brawler
Shermie : Sexy grappler
Chris : Fast striking kid

Upon their debut in KOF '97, the abilities of Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris in their true form were meant to mirror those of KOF's original Hero Team—Yashiro for Daimon, Shermie for Benimaru, and Chris for Kyo.

The KOF XV Ura Orochi Team uniform is based on Goenitz, the Orochi Hakkeshu leader who died in KOF '96. Before now, Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris wore it during KOF '98's credits. Even Chris's feather accessory has been reproduced.

To be honest.
I was hoping for a look similar to his artwork in vanilla 2002
I liked the monstrous look Nona gave Orochi Yashiro.
He actually feels scary, like a true transformation.

Not a fan of his new look https://t.co/UCFbeovTjB

(As a side note, it's 100% valid if you don't think Yashiro likes men! ..If you think the same is true for Mitsuba I dunno what to tell you)

¡Tenía muchísimas ganas de hacer un fanart de esta obra! ¡Los astros se alinearon y me solicitaron una comisión sobre ella!
