Here’s another watercolor/gouache test, I tried darkening everything up and use gouache to build up light. It’s difficult since I haven’t yet get the willpower to go full on gouache yet. Still, it’s definitely getting better

Vale of tears, revisit for Alice asylum. The shadowing in my mind isn't evil, it's not trying to kill or destroy but rather Darken the world. In my mind the twisting you see in the art should be the world, literally twisting itself with the portals.
