In the UK the names of the Wollywogs and Wogpoles had to be changed to Wollyhops and Wolpoles, respectively. This is because ‘wog’ is considered offensive there.

This change started in the New Play Control versions of Pikmin 1 and 2.

you know the blank canvas set had some questions raised with the outfits being so ethnically ambiguous it came off as mishmashing multiple cultures together (especially with the song name being nomad and all) but imo the set itself is pretty inoffensive in comparison

Dragonlord back in the NES/FC version of DQ1 used to have near full resistance against all offensive spells. When the remakes came out, he ended up getting full immunity from Fizzle & Snooze while his resistance against Sizz & Sizzle was nerfed to make up for his huge health bar.
