theres a lot u can do to just "cheat" pretty much to minimize the effort of animation where the motion still looks just as good!! this even applies to motion itself where sometimes doing something that makes less sense frame-by-frame looks better in motion

TBT - To when I designed and worked on character sprites lol. I realized going from digital to traditional made me minimize my palette a lot. So it's a bit of a mental switch when going back to working on digital.
