New Action ConvertDirectionToRotation that wrap up nicely the typical cases of working with raycast normals and rotating objects to look at a given direction. You can do this with LookAt or QuaternionLookRotation actions, but it takes a bit more effort.

I'm going to add a new shader using information you shared w/regard to normals. While many maps are good enough with bump maps-- it turns out images like this one just don't work with bump maps. Need normals! :-)

Playing around with Shader Graph, making some stylised/toon rocks. (This shader is using toon based lighting with normals offset by noise for more interesting edges).

Ah gotcha:

So first you use ctrl+R to create a purple line across the box, then move it up, click to place it.
Then you select these new polygons.
Then, in Tools, find the Extrude tab and click on Region (Vertex Normals), and then you can extend these polygons.

It organically blends on World Normals now, so I can have undulating terrain without having to manually paint all the rocks in the hillsides :-)
