When it comes to the characters I’m obsessive over, I guess I tend to change up slight details. With Shamir, I always drew her jacket with them little peaks pointing out, and with Saya I’m trying to give her more animal looking and fluffy type of ears similar to Nia’s from XB2.

I think I was never supposed to like him in the first place. He's there acting as the group's voice of reason and early-game beast of an unit. His obsessive personality and making sure he's perceived as a servant, not a friend, is a trope I don't like.

I mostly agree with you but there was never a bit of yandereness to Amy point blank. Yes Amy has been "obsessive", jealous, or even "violent," but still never yandere. Everything she is and was still remains in the tsundere B territory. The closest yandere "Amy" was her anti:

Amy isn't stupid or a stalker and Sally isn't the only one whose kind. Clingy is a strange word to use and obsessive strongly depends on the writing. Both characters can whine. That's not a sin.
