I also made 2 other versions of this piece. While the hand didn't turn out great, overall I like how these came out.
but boooy I have never put more effort into a singular creative work in my life, than I did with this. every panel is painted and my overarching vision was to set the character interactions against sweeping ocean vistas, each defined by their lighting.

This is probably my favorite shot from Digimon Tamers, a quick but sweet moment between Jeri and Leomon before the lion hits the fan. I'm really happy with how this came out! I tried a couple of new things with both characters and I think it turned out well overall.

@mattcrotts Something like this isn't so extreme & cringy as your example. It's more subtle, conveys the motion & doesn't detract from the overall image & experience but gets the point across.
Can it be done in linework? Sure, DWJ does it in this example. They're both valid techniques.
I have another question I'd like to ask, especially to my audience. Which main outfit of Wario's do you prefer best out of his standard overalls and his WarioWare biker garb?
For me, I prefer the overalls, to the point where I always play as him wearing them in SSBU.
