Once I got the green mixed up (which I loooooove) I didn't like how it went with the orange. So I changed the orange to a reddish brown. Yum! Gold is next.

Oh yeah, dont use black to shade (or grey). As an example (using my art), not only did i choose a darker colour (slightly closer to "black") but i also changed the base colour closer to a reddish/ orange tone for the hair and skin
