The comedy in the episode is hilarious, I haven’t laughed this much at a SpongeBob episode in a while and given Season 13 quality being a step down from the previous HD seasons (9-12) I personally believe the quality of the second half is already improving so far -
A lot of frames of SpongeBob (especially the grill scene) had expressions that gave me instant classic SpongeBob vibes with how much it proved that modern SpongeBob episodes can still be produce with the exaggeration being toned down. Most which Season 13 did that job. -
The new SpongeBob episode "Salty Sponge" is THAT good, I am flabbergasted at how much they made a 20+ year old cartoon still creative with all kind of ideas they had in mind.
