Pichu's design changed a little, just a few months before Gold & Silver's release. Pichu was kind of a blog that wasn't squeezed tight its collar yet, and the ears were different.

Blanche de la Cour sprite, before and after. This is roughly 1 year apart but I'm really happy with the improvements I'm making. These sprites won't get anything more than minor changes from here on out so that I can finish the game sooner rather than later.
