as for Evil Ryu, I think he's primarily popular among casuals. They like him because he's edgy and badass, not because of the moveset tweaks vs regular Ryu.

So I would just make him a costume. Go the extra mile so it changes his win quotes and stuff too, people WILL buy it.

There is alot if reasons but manly i belive the moveset could be bonkers and having a character representing the Indie scene would just feel right given how much bigger Indie games has become in recent years it would just feel right having a Indie star duke it out with the big!

Just get the Summoner/Kiran from FEH to join Smash and make his moveset be him summoning a bunch of Heroes. N-B are archers, Up-B are fliers, Side-B are Cavs, Down-B are mages, Smash attacks are infantries, and the Final Smash is that poster of all the heroes attacking Veronica.
