yeah no problem! sorry that was a lot of info, comics is just something I'm really passionate about. there's honestly a ton of ways to do references, but one trick I found helpful is that if you flip a character, you can just draw their back like this

Fun fact, even though Bonnie’s based off the obvious irl criminal Bonnie, she’s also based off infamous criminal George “Baby Face Nelson”

There will be a few references from the “O Brother” adaptation of him through Bonnie Cause I adore that movie.
