That was a pretty good day, I've made sketches for 3 pages, but felt so much burn out and I went to color on PC. My teachers said to never use gray or black for shadows but it's just so much good with multiply here👌

When I had all the lines and base shadows/highlights, I started doing flat color on everything and also decided the ambience-time of day and general color tone of the illustation

Lavery was a good colourist - evidenced here by the cool blue tones of the shadows on the first punt, the repetition of these and the yellow of the dress in the bridge in the background and the green depths of the water below.
