Good example is this. Ahsoka. Still looks like the same character, in the same style, but older. More mature. More wise. They're conveying that through a couple of subtle tweaks. Smaller eyes, more defined jawline, the head is slightly more ovular and circular, smaller mouth

Initially I wanted to have Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Kingpin be a part of the story, but found myself drawn to the others that eventually made the cut.

However I still made sure to include one off villains like Kangaroo. Who, yes, was a real Spider-Man villain.
