Well I'm heartbroken. My scanner has developed some internal flaw that creates lines across whatever I scan. I cleaned it as best I could, but it doesn't seem to be fixable. Poop.

So here an HD remake of my Flying Plague Doctors oc I did a few months ago. Re cleaned it due to the original having been drawn on a small canvas causing the lines to look more pixelated.

Another I often jot down an idea like the first image, just so I remember it for later. I like sketching more complex drawings on the ipad, which is also why it’s so cleaned up. Then printed on paper and inked on a lightbox. Then scanned and colored on the ipad!

I love starting very loose with a piece using big brushes, each pass after is just further refinement. This sketch has already been cleaned up quite a bit from a rough start but I couldn't find anything earlier.
