New Angelo Profile
Another profile picture for my fiancé, made to accommodate several design changes for the character.
I decided to make an actual abstract background too, instead of simple gradients.
Learning from my #affinitydesigner workbook. 2 takeaways from the first 2 lessons:
1) I can add a gradient to a stroke!
2) Duplicate Selection to create easy patterns with identical spacing was mind-blowing, haha.
couldn't pick the bg color hehe
anyw, this is my first full body, dark skin, gradient hair-ish, green-eyed, sitting position art ✨

Really wanna try and color out the dialogue from this panel but I know that gradient in the back would kick my ass and I still have to figure out a good way to mimic the speckled 'comic book' texture
regrese(?

@tomatophagia Thanks for the art share!! I’m Steph and I’m a digital artist! I’m really proud of my line art and gradients! ☺️💕
Map shows the 20 arrondissements of Paris. They snail outwards in a clockwise spiral. The colour gradient was meant to emphasize the snail shape but makes it hard to see the borders of the arrondissements. Source: https://t.co/yeoSCnWFHs
um desenho diferente do que costumo fazer só pq eu queria tentar uma make nela e um gradient lips
@IndiiCreates This one. It started as a clouds challenge with some friends. Wanted to test the gradient map painting technique and turned out with this and I love it 💜
Next up is shading! As for cel vs soft; cel is hard edged, and soft is soft/gradient edges. Which is easier depends on the person, so do some experimentation and see what suits you best!! For the tutorial I’ll be using a mix of the two, here’s some examples (cel, soft, and mixed)
