in light of recent Discourse TM i’d like to bring back a post i made like a yr ago about RELATIVE COLORS and how limited palettes can STILL depict darker skin tones. practice always makes things better!

Whilst I enjoy seeing a conventional swallowtail species as much as the next biologist, I particularly enjoy their Parnassius relatives, the apollos. These Clouded Apollo were busy making more apollos when we found them yesterday - our last butterflies of the @Greenwings tour.
