Thornwall from Maleficent- Matte painting/VFX art direction. I did a 2.5D approach for the wall. I created a few 2D thorn branch cards, and then arranged them in 3D space in Cinema 4D. You can see a render here. I then added lighting, integration, and detailing.

@the_doodlescrub Like take my characters for example. Claris on the left doesn't have much to show her personality, but her silhouette is unique. Jackson, however, has design features like his smith apron and his popped collar (to show how cool he wants to be). Take whatever approach seems best!
