Riiight, but the way the outlines are rendered is a lot looser in Chomet's work, which gives them this look that's closer to ballpoint sketchbook art than cartoons 🤔And the mood... The mood is fantastic.

Also don't be afraid to practice by tracing or just overlaying images, it's not cheating.

Even using pictures of your own work or outlines is super handy.

It really helps you to get used to digital drawing and blending techniques.
