Decided to experiment with color for once. :) I hardly ever touch it so figured I'd play around. I used it like I used to use paint, but I used a charcoal brush? This was only two layers, the sketch and the color. Obviously not the way to color, but I had fun with it!

No Kirby art challenge can be complete, if we don't feature some bosses too

The sky duo Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine colored with pencils and the oceanic Acro fully done in watercolor, they were both fun !

Welp, didn’t realize I posted the first version with the lineart clipped to the color, so here’s the better version and some corny sketches!

I wasn’t too sure how to make it better, I tried to make the hair color closer to the fur color, I loved the idea of the color being loose to show how rue isn’t too strict on Kira, made the tongue the same color as the heart chain, and chained the hairstyle to look wild.

Color is all these things. Hue is nearly the hue. Eyes play visual tricks with color, and story of a piece can be felt with color that looks totally flat value wise. For example. This image isn’t a finished painting, however it works in color but not in value. https://t.co/DRcgFmCVwx

Struggling to color, but I hope you guys like it. My head has been pounding since what happened and I think I'm gonna take this weekend to veg out. I'm sorry if I'm quite. But the raffle is again, getting moved to next weekend.
