Through out the year, I managed to get some cool commissions done, like with @GoMaconBacon! And knocked out weekly episodes of "Let's Watch Highlander" with my pal @tvstravis! Yes, 2021 was a hard year collectively. But personally, I managed to get some good stuff done! 2/3
I am definitely re-watching episodes 11-12 of Ashita no Joe 2 later tonight. It’s the legendary brawl between Joe Yabuki and Carlos Rivera, taking place on New Year’s Eve.
This is an official Caleb appreciation post. Listening to Campaign 2 for the first time is keeping me sane in between listening to the new Campaign 3 episodes.

Sōichi Masui makes his entry aboard the series as storyboard artist, and manages to get in some really cool high-angle shots
He's a name to keep an eye on thoughout mid-'03 since he boards two really big episodes later on
I like this recurring theme this season about purpose, especially for the witches and Kappa. For Mono and Neth specifically, they've been chasing this idea of revenge for so long, its consumed them, for Neth, almost quite literally in the current episodes...
PLANETARIAN (2016)
5 episodes
genre: drama, sci-fi
my MAL rating: 9/10
- has excellent pacing for a really short series
- has a self contained story but also worldbuilding
- the intimacy of the circumstance made me care about the characters (there's only 2)
- i cried 😭

- d'eon is one of david matranga's best roles
WATAMOTE (2013)
12 episodes
genre: comedy, slice of life
my MAL rating: 5/10
- this series is so dumb and has no plot
- i'd kin the mc if she wasn't so annoying
- just wanna punt her troll face into the sun
- the pretty bff and the asshole brother are the only likable characters
ENSEMBLE STARS (2019)

my MAL rating: 6/10
- series based on games are weird
- there's so many characters. i honestly don't remember any of their names. now or when i watched it 😅

- i hope the movie gets dubbed

- the first OP is catchy af
MAID SAMA (2010)
26 episodes + 1 OVA
genre: comedy, romance
my MAL rating: 3/10
- absolute garbage 🗑️
- a product of its time that aged like milk

- misaki deserved so much better
BLOOM INTO YOU (2018)
