The first avian I ever considered to be my OC. Meet Velvet Nightrest the griffin. This was way back 2014 ish. She's also the first one I considered a rockstar, that is addicted to Mountain Dew haha.
The left one is my art, the rest is from point commissions and art trades.
Some art of my new oc Meifeng :3 She's a Hippogriff, that's why she's got all those feathers
This is the kind of #fairytale I struggle with because it is clear that the dark griffin is pursuing the unicorn and rider in a bad way, but I just want to be his friend.

#FairyTaleTuesday #TheGriffin is a fairy #tale collected by #TheBrothersGrimm. In medieval #legend griffins mate 4 life, if one partner dies, then the other will live the rest of its life alone. They’ve a special significance 4 me but that’s another story.
