When The Green Lantern was re-imagined for the Silver Age of Comic Books in 1959 as a hot shot test pilot, I figured men like Chuck Yeager inspired that.
Yeager, a highly decorated test pilot, who was the first person to break the sound barrier, back in 1947, has passed away. https://t.co/JPd0zgHXlt
An Art Trains has arrived its destination, sorry! But thanks for tagging me, @DustBunnyArt 💕
(Some old and newer arts, and Chuck just because RIP Mr Yeager) https://t.co/bFFVsyXnrC
Today @GenChuckYeager passed away. He was a WWII pilot and the first man to break the sound barrier. For any Strike Witches fans, he was the inspiration for the charater Shirley Yeager. RIP Chuck Yeager.

@PeterJTomasi @IAmBradWalker @DougMahnke @BilquisEvely This will forever be one of my favourite Batman moments. His cordial address of this doctor always makes me chuckle, what should be a scary sight to the criminals of Gotham is defused quickly into a calm nightly visit by the Batman. This moment always makes me smile.
Chuck delivering a massive info dump while Betsy is BEING CODED ON THE TABLE and he has a massive sci-fi needle to give some epinephrine still makes me😂😂😂😂😂
Close to 30 years ago I stopped by the Alexander Gallery in New York City. Alex was mounting a Chuck Jones How the Grinch Stole Christmas show and I had first pick. This is my favorite moment from the cartoon so it was an easy choice.
