This is an ancient Japanese monster "Amabie". In Japan, there is a tradition in 1846 that "Amabie" emerged from the sea and she prophesied, "If you show people a picture of my painting, the plague will subside"

I recently learned about this aquatic yokai called the Amabie.
Long ago the Amabie emerged from the sea and said "If disease spreads, draw my picture and show it to the ill, they will be cured"
I thought it was an adorable trend.

私のはそんな需要あるとは思わないけど（そっか、縦長にすればスマホ壁紙に出来るって事か）と学習して縦長バージョンも作ってみた。

普段こういう比率で描かないから新鮮で楽しかった。
