Compare this to comic books. There's much less economy and rhythm to the storytelling. This isn't necessarily a bad thing in a good writer and artist's hands but often it makes stories much harder to jump into.
I wonder if my work has a recognisable style and so-called "artist's handwriting"...
As an author, I can't understand it yet... I haven't done anything with my style, it's just the way it is, my hands do it myself
