I wanted both of my GIANT-SIZE X-MEN issues to start with a graphic X layout. JEAN + EMMA’s is circular and flowery — meant to portray Krakoa as a mutant paradise. STORM’s is angular and stiff, with circuitry behind — trying to get across a claustrophobic and robotic feeling. ❌

Yes, his head is a very lethal circular saw and he spits flame through the double pipes from his ribs. Dunno why, dunno how, but he's a pure mess-making machine.

Thanks for showing this. It inspired me to do this with circles but the center point of each circle has its own circular orbit, some in reverse direction. Lots of messy images but also some interesting. The lines are high-transparency so the "flares" are highly-traversed regions.
