Ship concept for one of the ladies
its actually orientated like a tower.

Basically it follows the same sort of realistic spaceflight as the Expanse

Julie Pelaez plays with the unpredictability of ink to create artworks that are organic in their fluidity and unique in their patterns and color combinations. https://t.co/8ReBtGC7ad

It's already out on IGN. One of my paintings for Rime of the Frostmaiden. The Coldlight Walker. Had a blast working on this creepy fella, one of many monsters you will encounter on the frigid expanses of Icewind Dale!

Weta Workshop did early concept designs for The Expanse?! And they went for a completely unexpected direction for the Rocinante... with movable heatshields and organic details.

Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach's "Sphinx mit Undine" is an ethereally beautiful painting, showing a fair, pretty, red-haired girl gazing out with feminine curiosity toward the vast night-lit expanse of eternity.

A dream or a memory, maybe both. Take solace in the expanse or fight it. This is all there was, is, and will be.

Jokes on you- it’s both! A tower on an island. An island with a tower. Despite the wide expanse of water ahead of you- it feels familiar. Like you’ve been there before...
Obviously you’re going to investigate.
You just need to get across.

I am still working on more in my Expanse portrait series, but RL has slowed me down. They will be coming!

At least Darwin IV had interesting stuff living in the gravel expanses. Barlowe also made the excuse that the planet had lost most of its liquid surface water resulting in extensive desertification. But I still see your point

"The Earth is spinning in the vast expanse of spacetime, and so are we, along with it; that during each now we experience here, countless things are happening in countless elsewheres."
