Manga recommendation Witch Hat Atelier by Shirahama Kamome. Gorgeous panel and page composition combined with a slightly more "artistic" and sociological look on magic, Atelier is a definite essential for anyone who likes small-scale fantasy and Ghibli films.

Funny how three of my choices were made by a studio owned by Disney.

I’ll explain why each of these made me cry in a thread. SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ALL FOUR FILMS. [1/10] https://t.co/LAXmFWud97

I just watched Anastasia for the first time last night. It's far from perfect, but I really enjoyed it. The traditional animation was gorgeous, I liked the characters, the songs were nice, and the voice talent was excellent. It's one of Don Bluth's best films. I recommend it.

Won’t leave that literally hanging. Here’s the sequence. It’s not rude it looks like. It’s a balloon dog that gradually grows hair as it fills with guts then explodes. Like you often see. Loads of ideas are generated then the best are chosen on films. On on

Any those low budget 80s fantasy films. Except Beastmaster. Everybody loves Beastmaster.

I am ashamed to admit, but I am an escopist. I dream of being courageous and solving problems like in pretentious films.

If there was a title sequence artist whose work could rival Saul Bass, it's Maurice Binder. I love his work from films like Charade, After the Fox, The Mouse That Roared, and of course the James Bond films. His work is simply superb.

So for each era of the Godzilla franchise I go through i'm going to be making a kind of celebration poster starting with some modern films. The Big G looked like he wanted to ask me out on a date so I added the rose.

They very nearly made one complete with concept art! Disney eventually scrapped it and many of the concepts/ideas got rolled into their POTC films.

Celebrations are not only meant for successful films. Though the film didn't do well, it had things to be recalled and talked about. Go through the thread.... 🤗😊😍😇

Daisy Johnson fanart in anticipation of the upcoming finale. Back when it started, I was watching it to see how it tied in to the films. But these days I just find myself wishing that the films would tie in to Agents of SHIELD. The show's too good for the films!

Here's where I shill In this Corner of the World. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It's a striking yet beautiful gaze into the hardships and and tiny joys of everyday life during WW2 in Japan. It's pretty long but worth every moment, and one of my absolute favorite films. https://t.co/athbjzhNmV

Thanks so much for the share! If there are any die-hard Scream fans out there, I've also done posters for the first three films. :)
