I'm excited to announce that limited edition prints of 'Little Blue' are now available! This drawing was inspired when I saw a kingfisher fly past me along the canal near my home where it sat in a nearby tree and let me observe if for 10 minutes https://t.co/TBft6dOcZb

Featured this week: Bestiary of Anne Walsh tiles. From left: dog, aspidochelone, pelican and kingfisher, bonnacon. The bonnacon's horns are curved back, so useless for fighting. It saves itself by emitting a projective of dung that scorchers pursuers as a sort of fire.

Trawling through hard drive and found this kingfisher study/comp thing from late '16 that never went anywhere. It was informative, though!
