So in case this helps other Vtubers/artists, I will share some of my drafts and a cool trick I learned from @_NaokiSaito . When making a character use chibis as they are simpler, make them monochrome to play with values and focus on a recognisable silhouette

Progress so far. Finally have a head model that doesn't look like total shite (by fixing the eye sockets)! Still gotta fix the eyes, and the side profile (and the ears) until I have an actually usable model, but progress is being made!
