The Helix!

One of the brightest and closest examples of a planetary nebula in the night sky.

A cloud of gas created at the end of the life of a Sun-like star.

This is 26 x 4-minutes using the QHY268C and Optolong L-eXtreme filter.

I took this picture of the "Tadpole Nebula" last year using my telescope in the backyard.

This is an active star forming region that lies 12,000 light-years away in the constellation Auriga.

This is my photo of the Horsehead Nebula from the backyard last year.

This region of Orion single-handedly inspired me to get into - and it is my profile picture on every platform.

My latest image from the backyard, the Bubble Nebula!

This is a 6-hour exposure (total) of a stunning hydrogen region in Cassiopeia (NGC 7635).

I used a monochrome camera and narrowband filters to achieve this result. I hope you enjoy it!

Gravity is an incredible artist. Forming incredible structures by gently tugging at gas & dust, illuminating them with starlight. Here's my favorite spot in the galaxy, the center of the heart nebula. Captured with two telescopes in my backyard

My take on the awsome winning image for astro photographer of the year, and no where as good as he's. No bracket made from a 3d printer, just tilt shift in photoshop. This was taken last weekend.
