Realized while drawing this I haven't drawn a Mario character unironically in a while. Balancing this art out by drawing Waluigi later
This art was commissioned by Cordeeceps, showing her dragon Zuri. It was a good challenge to get this character in view in an interesting way, balancing a night scene with good visibility, while still showing off as much detail as possible. I'm really happy with the result! :D
@MuriahMG @noirsnowart tagging @nightelfing. i think two of swords best represents Zephyr. it highlights the duality she feels between priestess and demon as well as the difficulty of balancing the two.

got some comments @ my rendering, so:
1. base colors + lines all go in 1 layer group
2. multiply on clipping layer to that layer group, ~60% layer opac
3. glow dodge layer ~36%, fill color, for tone balancing
4. glow dodge, v soft brush ~20% opac, for glows
@z0mbear i already know people are gonna use the squad launch ability to launch teams off the map.
And i think she won't be that strong considering three people can very easily shoot her while she is in the air with no cover.
so i would say the team has done a good job with balancing.
