Genesis Surviver Gaiarth has a lot going for it. Nice animation, cool mech designs, and a coherent story all wrapped up in a 50 minute OVA. Bonus points for actually having an ending (something not all OVAs had…) Definitely interested in checking out the other episodes.

My cool and awesome sibling also suggested making the flags with actual birds and using their colors and I thought this was a really cool idea!
Unfortunately, the slight mismatch of colors and patterns made the design feel incoherent, so I went with solid colors instead
