For this illustration, when I was in the designing phase, I used a 3d model to figure out the shape of the roof and windows. A bit of a distraction, I'll admit, but also helpful and really fun too!

When it comes to Loud House, I usually know the style enough to *almost* skip the sketching phase, but when I'm trying new styles as I did here with Avatar Aang, my sketching process is something like this.
