Approach in theory: Moving and tilting the facial features helps break apart the stiffness of the rig. Allowing for the head to appear more three dimensional.

Approach in reality: I move the facial features, because it helps make the character look funny & cute.

So I started the process of making my first Rig. I've completed most of the modeling, but I need to model the inside of the mouth.

Once done, I can begin making the armature and rigging bones.

My pc got beat up pretty badly. All my file are lost and so do my recent artworks. I had to fix everything, reformat and install a new OS to my rig. It's kinda sad but oh well... here is my new char!

I decided to go above and beyond and add more controls to my Beanie rig. She's now at over 50 shape keys and can do extremely cartoony stuff now such as reacting to spicy food with a red-hot tongue, or other things that give her so much more character.
