@VectorConvoy He's a co-designed OC. Not technically dumb, but compared to his siblings he's more battle and industry oriented. Other folks and his sibs (mostly the narcissistic one) see him as a meathead, leading to him being perpetually angry/snarky and butting heads with everyone. He tries.

Slappy Squirrel, Animaniacs
Slappy should have had her own spin-off. As fun the varied cast in Animaniacs can be, Slappy is the heart and soul of the show. Cranky, snarky, and funny- she's always a presence.
And I will never forgive the reboot show for not using her at all.
