Pretty Witchy Solomon-chi!
Drew my OC in the various Ojamajo DoReMi outfits. His main "color" is supposed to be cream, but idk if it translated well... #OjamajoDoremi
One great interest of his was grisaile paintings. They are designed to look like carved stone & reflect on his interest in antiquity. These include David & Goliath (1490-5), Samson & Goliath (c1500), Judith with Head of Holofernes (1495) & Judgement of Solomon (c1500)
♡Happy 1st Anniversary♡

He later taught at St John’s Wood Art School. Mariana in the South (1897), Ariadne (1898), Awakening of Adonis (1899) & Destiny (1900). Unlike Simeon Solomon he did not explore his sexuality thru paint & his images seek beauty rather than truth.
@WebmancerStudio's commission for william afton and felix solomon from their comic! i had fun working on this. even if the animatronic head looked kind of rough for a while there.

For #StudySaturday is Queer and Jewish icon Simeon Solomon’s sketch ‘Night and Her Child Sleep’. A theme Solomon returned to in his drawings, the androgynous beauty, closeness of the figures and the robe that embraces them, forms an artwork full of maternal love and devotion.
@KaylaAncrum I have one that I've been trying to develop the story for that's thematically The Witcher meets Solomon Kane and The Name Of The Rose (that book actually comes up a LOT for some of my stuff).
Just a good old Dark Fantasy Detective story instead of grimdark politics and shit.
