Green from the Pokémon Adventures manga should be used in the franchise more. I like that they're seemingly doing just that by making her canon since Lets Go Pikachu. I don't know if they've kept her spunkiness from the manga though.

just finished another rover booking today!! this was a spunky family of four,, the retriever carried her ball for all 3 of our 20 minute walks, the shih tzu mix was such a lil old lady, the bichon/dachshund mix went with the flow, and the lab reminded me so much of karma

It wasn't intentional, but Midori is the character that reminds me of my teenage self. Shy, wrote poems and stories and didn't shared it with anyone, spunky and sarcastic when needed but kind at heart, like goth clothing and literature. I also had short hair in high school.
