Col is a clone layer of your color+background and whathaveyou. Its needed so that the saturation is basically doubled (+D) instead of jsut overwritten to be a universally higher value.

@blobcore Making an image black & white can help you see if you are using a good variety of values. In this piece, many of the colors share a similar value. Consider throwing in some darker and lighter portions. The vibrant color pallette and mood of the piece is amazing though!

£2.50 for a copy of the Little Prince or the Night Before Christmas is incredible value. They are not the only books at this price and if anyone is looking for stocking fillers or class gifts do get in touch. They are even less if you buy 20 or more.
