He was recognised as one of NYC great expressionists by the time of WWII. He spent time in nature at Yaddo in Upstate NY. This would increase his abstraction & lead to thoughts of Paris. Can Fire in the Park (1946), Village Street Scene (1948) & Untitled (1947)

Oscar Hammerstein II, died 1960: “I think it is just as important to sing about beautiful mornings as it is to talk about slums. I just couldn’t write anything without hope in it." To mark his demise there was the most complete blackout on Broadway since WWII.

Soldier Armia Krajowa, AK -Home Army- of the during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, during the Second World War.

Often I don't do much proper historical art, because I fail so much with gear and equipment.

This is Lavrentiy Beria, a Soviet politician. He was associated with Stalin or something.

A great flight sim on the Knights of the Sky, follows the template very well but in a WWII setting, great visuals, is much more a Dog Fighting game while you go up the ranks to become an ace

To help mark I have created a series of portraits of WWII veterans. Like many people of my generation, I am increasingly aware of the bravery of those involved in WWII. I wanted to pay tribute to their sacrifice and courage.

The earrings are no problem. It looks good on you! Rising sun is the same as Germany still uses the Iron Cross. (WWII Germany used the iron cross as a symbol of the army.) Like the cross, the rising sun represents culture. Sun only represents a blessing. (This is official art.)

Here is some Hitler and Goebbles. I like to think of them as friends. I like to draw historical figures for fun and I don't care what you think of me.

Don't ask why I drew this okay. When drawing this I learned that Himmler is 5'9 and Heydrich is 6'3. Made me want to draw them even more. ;)

SEGA made a WWII Cap game for the 360 era that was pretty good IIRC.

It reminded me of Arkham Asylum or Wolfenstein in that each level was one continuous narrative, going from room or section to the next in “The same night”
