Upon further revelation, turns out it may be a modified piece by DRKS. The guy is in my DMs about crediting him since it's his tattoo. Though nothing was ever said about the credit to the artist. Someone had to dig up the DRKS piece, but it's there.

2. to save LOADS of boring digital flats work, i did a more enjoyable watercolor over just the characters, and saved the bg for digital
