The bead cousins encountered some challenges this week but they are doing very good now! One was struck by porcupine quills and the other injured her front leg.
Had to make a little drawing for them. I'm surprised it was specifically these two AND on the same week.
Once we landed on a composition they liked (below), I asked them more specifically about details:
- no character in the foreground, replace
- post-industrial-ish cityscape
- clouds
I did some pre-processing of the image to facilitate this for the next step

First one is specifically designed to bring out pinks and purples of an otherwise desaturated palette for a gloomy magical feel.

I got my hands on that old Zelda Link To The Past comic that I think ran in Nintendo Power back in the day and it's wonderful all the way through, but the ending specifically really struck me! It's such a sad, melancholy mirror to Breath of the Wild's ending. I love it so much.
