I simplified Sedge's colour design ref a little; just fixed a few things (no more smudge details on the edges of his dark grey fur and his tail is now totally dark grey,) and overall just had fun drawing him. I think that I am getting better at drawing coyotes, slowly!🐾🐺

So creating fur was my biggest roadblock and I settled on just taking it from teostra
At a break point in my new painting- going to do some characcter sketches now. But- this detail shows how I color the line art to match the "deepest shadow" of each part. And her fur has blue shadows- her bra has red shadow. As I'm going to blend these later.

@ST3PCAR3FUL @Ephemeral_Moth gonna second this by also varying your fur styles !! you can have a more irritable charactor with spiky fur, or a mild one with thicker lineart, tufts of fur ! :D just experiment and go wild, and be sure to vary your sketch shapes from just circles :]
